Music Composer Gold & Multi Platinum Award Winning Lead Guitarist from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Former Guitarist for British Rock Band "Waysted".
Barry started playing guitar at the age of 9 and studied with many different guitar teachers as well as observing other guitar players playing live.
Barry's primary influences are Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple & Rainbow), Michael Schenker (UFO & MSG), Edward Van Halen & Yngeie Malmsteen.
Barry's first professional club/cover band was called '”Lover” with Jon Corabi (Motley Crue on backup vocals & rhythm guitar. Second professional club/cover band was called “Diamonds” with Tom Keifer (Cinderella) on backup vocals and rhythm guitar, His third professional club/cover band was called "Precious Metal," with Tony Harnell (TNT) on lead vocals, His forth professional club/cover band was called "Fragile'" with Ron E. Kayfield (Waysted) and Jon Corabi (Motley Crue) and Jerry Best (Lion) with Doug Aldridge (Dio and Whitesnake). His fifth professional club/cover band was called "Prophesy," with Ron E. Kayfield. His sixth professional club/cover band was called "Blind Driver' with Johnny Dee (Britney Fox, Waysted & Doro Pesch) and Billy Childs (Britney Fox).
By the age of 24 Barry finally joined the British Metal Band "Waysted" with Pete Way (UFO) and toured as the opening act on the infamous Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue and Waysted 1984 World Tour, ranked "The 4th Greatest Metal Moment of All Times," by VH-1.
In 1986 Barry was the featured lead guitarist on "Cinderella's" triple platinum debut album "Night Songs," which sold well over 3,500,000 copies worldwide, earning him both gold and multi-platinum record sales awards for his contribution to the bands success.

December 17 2021, Barry was found in his home unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital where he was placed on a vent with Covid-19 symptoms. He succumbed to his complications from the virus on January 6 2022 at 1:36am. He leaves behind a beautiful wife Tish DeBenedetta and his 3 children.
